"Very lively place with lots of personality, my experience was great. Exceptionally well made food and great service. The food was amazing to me I had a carne asada burrito (full of well seasoned perfectly seared steak) I would definitely order this item again. All ingredients seem to be high quality with great taste. But what set this place apart was the fast friendly service. These guys will be in business for the foreseeable future because great service is hard to come by. If your in North Kansas City check them out you won’t be sorry"

"Found this place randomly looking for a unique lunch experience…SO glad we did! The tacos were the top I have had in KC -so well seasoned and delicious! I love that they wrapped the tacos in two corn tortillas so that they were easy to handle! Great service and Generous about for street tacos style and very reasonably priced! The vegetarian No-Carne Asada tacos were hands down the best vegetarian tacos I have ever had! Great salsa too! Highly recommend checking them out!! The Iron District is a fun and creative experience!!"

"Stopped in for AMAZING pulled pork tacos. Browned and seasoned perfectly, topped with Mexican cheese, cilantro, fresh lime, and onion, served with two sauces, green and red. The corn tortillas were grilled perfection. My wife had the quesadilla with pulled pork and mushrooms, also with fresh lime and sour cream which was as good as mine. Equally as delicious! "Terrific food, incredibly well-spiced and delicious! Didn’t expect the depth of flavor from the burrito going in that I received, and you can tell everything was made with care. Rice, beans, salsa, and chicken all complimented each other incredibly well. Just super solid all around."

"OMG! Soooo GOOD!! I came to the Iron District at 4 pm on a Sunday and everything was closed except for Cargo Cantina which was such a stroke of luck because I wouldn’t have had such an amazing meal! Honestly the culinary highlight of 2025! The food is very authentic (fresh cilantro, fired corn tortillas, cotija cheese) but with a modern American twist (lion’s mane mushroom tacos are fantastic!) The red salsa is one of the best salsas I’ve ever had-a subtlety deep savoriness) and the churros were perfection. And there were chicken tenders for the kids. Everyone left happy! I highly recommend!"
